The top structure includes the front wall, rear door, and left and right top and side beams, typically aluminum alloy. The left and right sides have sliding devices. There are upright columns (usually three on each side for a 13.7-meter-long side curtain semi-trailer) with pulleys that slide in the side beams. After loading, slide the columns into place and lock them.
The upper frame structure consists of the front and rear walls, top side beams, sliding columns, cargo rails between the columns, and the front and rear walls. Closing the sliding sunroof completes the upper assembly.
